We are devastated to announce the unexpected and sudden passing of our dear Deloris, daughter of the late Betty and Charles “Mickey” Strum, of Bruce Mines.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years Leroy Richard. Daughters Debbie Dixon (Ken), Natalie Larrett (John) and Nicole Thibert (Dave). Cherished grandma of Hannah, Emma, Alex, Gabby, Tanner and Brody. As well as being a “second” mom to many.
Dear sister of Jim Strum (Peggy), Judy Barbarie and Fred Strum all of Bruce Mines. Sister-in-law Elva Chretien (late Gerry) of Hanmer, Reg Richard (Lyla) of London and Jean Hunter (Harry) of Minto, New Brunswick. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and as well as customers that became friends during her 25 years at Tim Hortons.
Deloris was known for her friendly and welcoming nature, beautiful flower gardens and delicious baking (always cooking enough food for a small army) but most of all for the love she had for her family.
In lieu of a funeral service, a celebration of life will take place on Sunday August 20th, 2023 at her residence from 3pm-8pm. Please reach out to the family for the address.
Mom, you will always be the most beautiful flower in our garden. Rest peacefully you will forever be in our hearts.

Our deepest condolences to Leroy, the girls and families. We have known Dee for 25+ years both from Timmies and personally and enjoyed many happy times together. Dee you were one in a million and you have left a hole in so many hearts, you were always a friend along the way to so many with your smile and your warm welcoming nature, We shall miss you always and enjoy one more piece of Fudge!
