In loving memory of Wayne Charles MacKinnon, born in Sudbury on August 12, 1940.  Wayne was the dear son of Mabel (Wilson) MacKinnon and Charles Duncan MacKinnon predeceased.  He was married to his incredibly loving wife Mary (Taus) MacKinnon (predeceased) who he raised four beloved children with; Mike, Lisa, Janice and Jamie. He had a loving bond with his sons, Mike C. MacKinnon, and Jamie MacKinnon (wife Debbie) who he shared his trade with over many laughs. He continuously supported all his children’s activities and passions. His beloved daughter’s Janice Ferguson (husband Scott) and Lisa MacKinnon- Garic (husband Tom) devoted their time and energy into ensuring their fathers comfort, safety, and happiness. Wayne was the dear brother of Ken, Dennis (predeceased) and Randy MacKinnon. He was the cherished grandfather of Ashley and Mariana Garic, Ryan and Lacey MacKinnon. He was loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Wayne was a very skilled mechanic and body repair man. He often reminded his sons to “shoot for the shine, that’s what pays”. Wayne worked hard and played hard; he was well liked by all. He embraced the outdoors and was very proud of all his children. His grandchildren were the light of his later life and brought much joy and happiness to him. His humour and personality will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held with his closest family members.
