In Loving Memory of Fernande Leclair, in her 85th year who passed away peacefully with her nieces Lynn, Shelly and Tyrone by her side on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Villa. Fern was born July 16, 1932 in St. Charles, ON to the late Lucien and Marie (Dupuis) Fournier. Fern is predeceased by her brother Aurèle Fournier (Mignonne) in 2002. Cherished wife of Michel Leclair predeceased in 1995 and Ernie Piché predeceased in 2008. Fern is survived by her loving brother René Fournier (Lina Roy) of Ottawa. She will be fondly remembered by her seven nieces and one nephew; Lynn Fournier (John Hawes), Shelly Larabie (Reg), Tyrone Fournier (Glenn Evans), Guy Roy (Moni Forgo), Christine Fournier (Michel Sabourin), Francine Fournier (Brad Higgins), Lise Fournier, Lucie Fournier (Martin Larivière) and many more great nieces and nephews. The family would like to say an extra special thank you to Nicole Piché who treated Fern like she was her own Mom. You made a difference in her life and we are all forever grateful. The family would also like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa – Lakeview for their kindness and compassionate care. At the family’s request there will be no visitation or service.
