It is with great sorrow that the family announces the deaths of Monika Lausch, 59 years, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 and her husband Keith Lausch, 53 years, on Monday, December 30, 2019, in Sudbury, ON. Loving parents of Carolyn Acasaki (Sam), Kevin Bertram (Tammy), William Lausch (Andrea) and Krystalyn Lausch (Godwin). Cherished grandparents of 11 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. Sadly missed by their brothers, extended families, and many friends. Monika was born in Toronto, ON to the late Herbert and Joan Ernst. Keith was born in Sudbury, ON to Richard (predeceased) and Joyce Lausch. In keeping with Keith and Monika’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Sudbury Food Bank, 1105 Webbwood Drive, Sudbury, on Sunday, January 12, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Kinsmen Club of Sudbury.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your parents. When I was working at Meals on Wheels (Sudbury) I saw your dad every year at the Kinsmen House and we always had a chat. He was such a pleasant person. You have dealt with so much in your young life and my heart goes out to you. I wish you nothing but good things in your future – you deserve it. Take care of yourself.

It was nice that Monika reached out to me not long before their passing and that I had the opportunity to converse with cousin Keith and herself.. I am so glad to have had that opportunity. It is just terrible that we missed so many years in between. Blessings to them both on this new journey.
