In loving memory of Michel Deschenes, 69 years, who passed away at his residence on Thursday, April 8, 2021. Son of the late Marie-Laure and Alphonse Deschenes of Hanmer, ON. He was preceded in death by his wives Blanche and Willa. Loving brother of Sister Lucille, Guy, Jacqueline, Jean-Paul, Germain - predeceased (Nancy), Carmen (Mike) - both predeceased, Jeannine (Lucien and Mike both predeceased), Alcide, and Aime (Ghislaine). Loved by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Michel was retired from Vale, formally known as INCO, as a miner where he worked for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Michel especially enjoyed making his own lures. Cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral services. Burial will be determined at a later date. Memorial donations may be made directly to the Canadian Red Cross, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Sudbury SPCA as expressions of sympathy.
