The family announces with sorrow Don’s passing on Friday, June 7, 2019 at the age of 61 years. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Helen Currie. Cherished brother of Sherron (Ken) Wallace. Loving uncle of Lindsy (Dan) Scott. Dear great uncle of Bryson, Emma and Mia. Don is now reunited with his faithful canine companion Maddi. He will be sadly missed by many cousins and friends. Don gave unconditional love to all his friends and family. He had recently retired from Canada Post after many years of dedicated service. Don was a real animal lover, donations in his memory may be made directly to Pet Save. In keeping with Don’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Don will be greatly missed by his co-workers…his wonderful dry sense of humour and his love of talking on breaks about gardening and his four legged friends. It’s so sad ….but now he is in a good place and with no more suffering!
