Chretien, Vivianne Claudette

(February 13, 1937 - July 30, 2023) -  (86 years)

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Health Science North, Sudbury.

Devoted wife of Robert (predeceased), loving mother to Daniel, Guy (Susan), Michael (Julie), Paulette Coe (Robert) and Paul. Dear Sister to Ursula Landry (Oscar both predeceased), Robert Gatien (predeceased), Gaetanne Wright (Merrill) predeceased. Vivianne is survived by five grandchildren, Christopher (Julie), Nicholas (Melanie), Ryan (Christine), Kelsey (Joey), and Lindsay (predeceased). Also survived by ten great grandchildren, Caleb, Abigail, Keagan, Maya, Emmett, Coen, Brooklyn, Mathieu, Jackson and Derick. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mom was devoted to her entire family especially to Dan and Paul who lived with her and were always there for her needs. She was a stubborn women but she developed that over the years from having to raise five children.

Mom loved family gatherings. In the earlier years at the Landry camp along with her sisters and family from Winnipeg. She loved gardening, fishing, going out for a drive and music. When you played Neil Diamond she would always sing and in the early years would get up and dance. Her house and yard were her castle, the flowers needed to be cared for, grass needed to be cut and all this work was done by Daniel. She appreciated everything someone would do for her regardless of how big or small the job.

She will be reunited with her husband, sister, brother and granddaughter.

Rest in peace Mom. Until we meet again.

At Vivianne’s request, there will be a Celebration of her Life at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made directly to the Jarrett Centre or to a charity of your choice.
