Belliveau, Paul Joseph

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Paul Joseph Belliveau born April 24th 1957. Paul passed peacefully on

October 30th 2023 surrounded by his family. He was 66 years old.

He will forever be missed by his best friend and wife Roxanne (Lozier), his wonderful daughter Julie Rae and son in law to be Trevor Baldson. He also leaves behind his five favorite sisters Annette (Phil) Kelly, Claire Belliveau, Lorraine (Bill) Thibault, Geraldine (Ken) Turner, and Catherine Belliveau.  He will also be missed by other in laws Lise Lozier, Gilles (Grace) Lozier, Gerry Lozier, Denis Lozier, Dan Glad and by many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.   His furry little buddy Cameron who he loved to walk and chase around will also feel lost without him. He is predeceased by his parents Lillian and Raymond Belliveau and his youngest daughter Renée Lise.

He fought a hopeful battle against Leukemia with such strength and perseverance. He inspired and encouraged others along the way and kept his humor and wit until his last days.  After retirement, he found peace and fulfillment in the simple things in life. You would find him hanging around the backyard in and out of his workshop renovating, creating, building, restoring, and repurposing his stuff.  He liked to travel especially with his new wolf pup camper.  He was always willing to help neighbors and friends and enjoyed visiting them regularly for a coffee and treats.  He was a charmer and a great person. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.  Thank you for being part of his journey and his “Book of Life” as he called it.

Memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society – Leukemia Research or to the Oncology Department at Health Sciences North Hospital in Sudbury, or any other donation of your choice. There will be a future service and celebration of life next year in the late spring in Terrace Bay, Ontario.  Details will be shared.
