Beloved wife of Yves Beauchamp and Howard Biglow, both predeceased. Devoted mother of Joanne (Bob Becket), Michael (predeceased) (Marilyn) & (Pam), Peggy (Chris Darby) of London and Tommy (Cindy) of Windsor. Cherished grandmother of Natalie (Darryl), Bobby (Julie), Meghan, Drew, Sarah (Keith), Jaimie (Patrick) and Jordyn. Loved by her great grandchildren Brayden, Nolan, Robert and Camille. Lucille was predeceased by her parents Christina (Chaput) and Felix Landry and by her sisters Delia Larocque (Frank), Germaine Pharand (Ernest), Angie Malette (Ray) and Rena Richer (Rudy); by her brothers Zephyr (Anna), Armand (Rita), Mathias (Jeannette), Remi (Cecile) and her son-in-laws Bob Landry and Dave Woolcock. Survived by her older sister Claire Poirier (late Romeo and Andre), and younger brothers Ed (Joyce) and Jett (Lucy) and Lucy’s special friend John Martin. Lucy was loved and revered by her family & friends.  She was a constant strength and guiding light in the lives of her children & grandchildren.  Lucy was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends, at ‘Camp Memere’, on McGregor Bay in Birch Island. Many of her siblings, nieces, nephews and The Golden Girls were part of her cherished memories. She owned and operated J.B. Jewellers in the Hanmer Shopping Centre, (1969 – 2018), later co-owned by her late son Michael. Providing employment for many over the years, she formed strong bonds and friendships. Lucy was involved with many charities and was a respected community member.  A special thank you is extended to the caring staff and Lucy’s friends at the Elizabeth Centre.  A Celebration of Life for Lucy will take place on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at The Golden Age Club, 26 Cote Blvd., Hanmer (masks required). In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Lucy’s memory can be made directly to the Inner City Home Food Bank and would be appreciated.

  7. Johanne, Peggy and Tommy,

It’s with a heavy heart that I share my condolences for the loss of your Mom.

Lucy was not only a great friend but a mentor to me. She introduce me many people that I all friends . She also taught me the importance of relaxing. I have many found memories of our time at her cottage with the Golden Girls. Our motto was “What happens at the Cottage stays at the Cottage”

We love her for the woman that she is, for the friendship that she provided, for all her talents – a golfer, a dance instructor and many more.

Rest In Peace my friend. You will be missed!

  10. Every niece/nephew has a favourite aunt or uncle. For me this was my Aunt Lucy. Always had a smile, words of encouragement and a warm hug. Life, time and distance change many things and relationships. Although I did not get to see her often after I joined the army Aunt Lucy always had and will always have a special place in my heart. Sending deepest condolences to you all from my family love Charlie, Dar, Jason and Sheena.
