It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Germain “Germ” St-Onge on Monday, June 29, 2020 at the age of 65. Germ will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 wonderful years, Pauline St-Onge (née Pilon). Loving father of Michelle, Lynn (Donna) and Ron (Casandra). Cherished grandfather of Jolina, Austin, Terrilynn (Skye), Taylor, Randy, and Alec. Dear brother of Colombe (Jean Claude), Francois, Oscar (Louise) and Remi. Son-in-law of Omer (friend – Gail). Germain was predeceased by his parents Aime and Laurence (née Leclair) St-Onge, his siblings, Carmene (Claude), Adrienne (Louis), Leon (Marilyn) and his mother-in-law Jackie. Germ will be missed by many family and friends. Germain began to train horses with his father-in-law many years ago for Sudbury Downs. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting, and camping. He loved playing cards and wood working in his garage. After retiring from Glencore, Germ became a trucker for Fisher Wavy. The family wishes to send a special thank you to Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd. for their care and compassion. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Church, 3594 Errington Ave., Chelmsford, ON at 11:00 am. Please keep in mind that facial masks must be worn during the Funeral Mass.
It is with a heavy heart that we must say goodbye to a fantastic friend/co-worker. I had the luxury of working with Germ when we worked at theriault and also here at Fisher Wavy. He was a great driver and not a day went by he did not make his crew laugh. Many thanks from us all here at Fisher Wavy for making our days just that much better. Rest easy Big Guy
