It is with much sadness the family announces the passing of Yvonne Mieyette – Chenier (nee Lalonde) at the age of 96. Yvonne was born on May 22, 1926 and passed on June 1, 2022. Daughter of the late Jules and Lawrence Lalonde. Siblings Rolly, Armand (Joyce) both predeceased. Predeceased by husbands, Jack Mieyette and Earnest Chenier. Mother of Jack Mieyette (Bev), Joan Leblanc (late Jerry) and predeceased by infant son Ronnie. Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Cindy, Cathy & Jack Mieyette and James & Jeffrey Leblanc. Great grandchildren Chloe, Sophie & Callie Leblanc, Dakota & Bailey Demore and Montana Rancount. Great great grandson Jack Jr. Mieyette. Special friend and daughter in law Jeanette Mieyette.
Yvonne will be remembered for her kind heart, loving ways, and her love of all animals. She is leaving behind her special fur baby ‘Muskrat’. The two Joan’s will miss the many Skip-Bo card games with Yvonne. She will forever be remembered for always baking herself a few birthday cakes! She will be sadly missed by all her extended family, friends and everyone who knew her.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If you wish to remember Yvonne with a donation, one can be made directly to any SPCA or animal charity of your choice
