In loving memory of Peter Lawrence Markle “Foxy” who passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice at the age of 70 years. Beloved father of Jennifer (Ryan). Cherished grandfather to Ashley and Lauren. Born in Sudbury on September 8, 1948 to the late Norbert and Valda Markle. Dear brother of John (Hope) and Gretchen (Larry). He will also be remembered by his former spouse Noella (nee Fortin). Peter worked for CN Rail for 37 years as a Conductor in Capreol and Sudbury. He was a kind man with a great sense of humor, who made many friends both in Sudbury and south of the border. The family would like to extend sincere thank-you to Peter’s special friends, the staff at Health Sciences North and the Maison McCulloch Hospice as well as his homecare nurse Lyne, all of whom unwaveringly provided support to Peter and his family throughout his illness and beyond. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, there will no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s name can be made directly to the Maison McCulloch Hospice and would be appreciated.
