In Loving Memory of Edwin, passed away Monday May 16th, 2022, at his lifelong home in Lively. Beloved father to Cody Young (predeceased). Lovingly remembered by the love of his life Sharon Gallagher (Tiffany, Tanisha, Brittany, Hendrix, Linkin, and Romeo). Beloved son to Edwin and Gloria Young (predeceased). Sadly, missed by his brothers Ronald (Sherry), Roy, Douglas (predeceased) (Sam) and his sisters Sandra Lively (Thomas), Sharon Cashmore (Owen), Faye Lively (Barry predeceased), Susan Bowschar (Mike - both predeceased) Shirley Leopold (Bob- both predeceased) Debbie Marcoux (predeceased) (Leo). Lovingly remembered by his niece Crystal (Young) Ed's "Little Diamond" (Ben and Ellie Baran) and Ronnie Jr. (Hudsyn). Edwin fought hard and strong with every battle he was given in life. Ed was a gentle, honest, yet stubborn man but had a very big heart. He loved cracking jokes to see others laugh and smile. Ed looked forward to hanging out with his buddies from KGHM and having a few cold brews, catching up on memories every now and again. He loved being at his home away from home, his camp, and putting his efforts into making every moment there a better time. His passion was restoring a newfound car in his garage or spending his sunny days driving around in his classic cars. Special thanks to Ron Sr. for helping care for Ed in his last weeks. I would like to thank HSN's Cancer team, the Palliative team of Dr. Faulk and Julianna for the support given to Ed during this time. To the amazingly supportive Bayshore nurses Tasha, Kristy, and Tara, who went above and beyond to make sure Ed and myself were taken care of. Also, to Ranger's Cremation and Burial Services for their role in Ed's arrangements. To all those who supported Ed and me through this tough journey, we are gratefully thankful. He will be truly missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 28, 2022, from 2pm-9pm, 44 Old Soo Road, Lively, ON.
What can I say loosing my best friend hits hard. The memories we shared with each other since we were just kids are amazing I would do it all over again with you my friend my brother my partner in crime. You name it we did it full of laughter, silliness, and cheer. Time spent with you will never be forgotten, love you and miss you Ed.

Someone just told me about the passing of Eddie. I went to school with him and live just down the road on Moxam Drive. Very sad to hear about this as he was a very good man. Can someone from the family please email me to tell me where I can send a donation in his honor please or text me at 705-207-9819. I want to send a donation to the place that he would want. Ed and I christened Curtis years ago. I remember his smile, his laughter and his way of making everyone feel comfortable and at home with him. He is in our thoughts and pray that he will be reunited once again with his Family.

Although I never met Eddy his girl Sharon works with me. I’ve heard so many stories about him from Sharon that I knew we would get along perfectly. I sent him some homemade beef jerky once and after that he was sending me his pork jerky which was amazing. Even though I never got to have that beer with you I’ll miss you and that jerky. Rest in peace buddy.
