George Robert “Bob” Yensen passed away suddenly at his home on August 24, 2026, at the age of 71 years. Bob is survived by his mother, Ida Loftus (née Dhinel), and was predeceased by her husband, Charles Loftus. He was also predeceased by his father, George Hubert Yensen, and his wife, Norma; his younger brother, Gordon Gilbert; and his sister-in-law, Ann Sears. Bob will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A lifelong resident of Capreol and a skilled industrial electrician by trade, he also had a love of the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting during his younger years. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
