“Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.”
In loving memory of Louise Winn (nee Nowicki), June 22, 1952 – June 30, 2026.
Loving mother and grandmother (Mimi) to Shelley (Nick), Bruce (Melodie), Alexis, Luke, Arya, and Talia. Predeceased by father Louis and mother Beatrice. Survived by siblings Lorraine (Roger), Brian (Wendy), Michael (Roma), and Joanne (Perry), and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by former spouse Clifford. She acknowledged the continued friendship with the Winn family: Charon (Eugene), Keith (Suzanne), Patricia (Gary predeceased), and Nancy (Lawrence predeceased).
Louise grew up in small town Onaping. It was a “company town” (Falconbridge). It was a simple life but a good one. Louise had a rewarding career as a Registered Nurse for 40 years. She loved spending her free time and finally her retirement at camp on Onaping Lake. She wanted her children and grandchildren to enjoy mother nature as much as she did. A private funeral and reception will be held to honour Louise’s life. Donations to NEO Kids, the Maison McCulloch Hospice, or the HSN Foundation would be appreciated.
