It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Noella Tessier (née Brunet) on October 29, 2026 at the age of 95. Noella was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered around her family. She was a kind, loving, and sweet woman whose faith was an important part of her life. She gave so much of herself to those she loved, and her family was always at the heart of everything she did. She will be remembered for the care she showed others and the deep love she had for her family.
Noella was predeceased by her beloved husband of 71 years, Denis, in 2024. She is survived by her four children: Richard (Lynn), Raymond (Sandra), Lorraine, and Aline (Brian); seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren, who were a great source of love and joy in her life.
She was predeceased by her parents, Omer Brunet and Desneiges Gauthier, and her brothers Eugène, Armand, Albert, Aurele, Lucien and her sister Eva. She is survived by her sister Agnes and brothers René and Clément.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the personal support workers (PSWs) and nurses who cared for Noella over the past four years. Your kindness, compassion, and dedication meant so much to her and to our family.
A service will be held at St-John's Cemetery in Garson at 2 PM on Monday, November 2, 2026. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Noella's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society https://cancer.ca/en/ways-to-give.
Noella's long life was a testament to her strength, faith, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on through the many generations she cherished.
