It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of our father Marcel Yvon Tellier on December 13, 2023 at the age of 81 years. Marcel contributed many things in life including creating “Wilderness Park” and introduced the northern community to Country and Bluegrass music by hosting many festivals in the late 70’s and 80’s. He also was a handyman and was able to troubleshoot many problems. He enjoyed helping others and teaching them everything he knew. “If man built it, then man can also fix it!”
He was the eldest son of Cécile (Boucher) and Origene Tellier (both predeceased). He will be missed and cherished by his children Ken, Kevin, and Brenda. Marcel was the eldest of six siblings. Predeceased are his siblings Lise and René. He will be remembered by his surviving siblings Raoul (Ray), Normand, France, and Chantal. His grandchildren André, Darcy, Justin, Travis, Kory, Madeleine, and Alexandra. Will forever remember his logical words of wisdom.
Mr. Marcel and his family would like to thank all the health professionals that were involved in his care. He was thankful for the friendship he developed with his neighbours Julie, Kathleen, Victor, Armand and Agathe. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date on his property in Field.
Marcel told many that he is now heading on a new journey to a new and beautiful planet and wants everyone to “have a great life and we will see each other in the next planet”.
