Eric Gerald Tattersall, age 80, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, June 20, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born on November 9, 1943, in Kirkland Lake, Eric spent 39 years dedicated to his career at CIBC, where he was highly respected by his colleagues and clients alike.
Eric was a loving husband of 58 years to Sharon Tattersall (née Baker) and a devoted father to Steven Tattersall and his wife Susan. He was preceded in death by his daughter Samantha Tattersall; his parents, Douglas and Ella Tattersall (née Flowers); and his sister Pamela Tattersall. Eric will also be missed by his grandchildren, Courtney, Kaitlyn, and Kyle Tattersall; his great-grandson Lennon Hindmarch; and his brothers, Michael Tattersall and Peter Gregg. Eric enjoyed golfing, grilling, fishing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Eric will be missed by all who loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
A wonderful man a great boss to me for many years. My fondest memories of Mr Tattersall were in Timmins include him and my time at the brach.
