In Loving Memory of Lawrence (Larry) Douglas Sullivan 76 years, who passed away on Thursday April 7, 2016 at his home in Val Caron. Beloved husband of 50 years of Betty Sullivan (nee Heinl). Loving father of Douglas Sullivan and Patrick Sullivan (Tamara Masse). Cherished grandfather of Emily, Justine (Patrick Berthelot), Hanna, Solann, Kendra, Dunovan and great grandfather of Hailey. Son of the late Lawrence P. and the late Florence (nee Slocombe) Sullivan. Dear brother of Paul Sullivan and the late Janet Johnston (nee Sullivan) and brother in law Robert Johnston (predeceased). Greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, his 2 hunting partners Mike and Mitch, his Ham Radio friends, as well as his canine friend Samantha and many more. His final resting place will be at the cottage in Muskoka where he loved to spend his summers. As per his wishes there will be no visitation or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Society would be greatly appreciated.
Dear Betty, Patrick, Doug and Larry’s grandchildren,
Linda, Kelly, Reggie, Tessa and I, knew, like and relied on Larry for a very long time. We are all sorely saddened by Larry’s passing. It was an honour and a great pleasure to have had him our lives, regardless of how little. Please accept our deepest condolences.
