The Smith family wishes to announce the passing of a much-loved husband and father, Lew Gary Smith on Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 at Extendicare Countryside.
Lew was an avid gardener who took great pride in his immaculate landscaping. Retiring after 37 years as a Forester with Ontario Hydro, he found a new passion taking up golfing. Most recently, he enjoyed the many visits from his former coworkers.
At the family’s request, there will be no service or visitation. Interment will take place at a later date.
