SLOSS, Robin Emerson Joseph

August 12, 2023

With love in our hearts and tears in our eyes we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Robin, 60 years, at his home on Saturday August 12,2023, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 42 years: Jeannine Sloss; his adoring children: Jamie Lebel and Jesse Sloss; his pride and joy, grandson: Jackson Emerson Lebel Campbell.  Cherished son to Robert Sloss and Aldea Sloss (predeceased). Adored nephew to his most loving of aunt’s: Betty Sloss. Remembered always by his brothers and sisters: Todd Sloss, Grant Sloss, Sonia Laberge (Eddy), Corey Sloss (Brenda) and Ann Sloss (Terry Zawacki – predeceased). Robin will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He passed peacefully in his sleep. He loved playing and watching sports. Camp was his happy place and you could always find him in the boat fishing. He absolutely adored his beautiful grandson whom he dedicated so much of his time to, they had an extra special bond. Robin was so proud of this little man and he experienced so much joy when spending time with him. Jackson will remember him forever. Loving father, and caring brother who always felt, as the first born, it was his job to care for and protect his younger siblings. He was the most loyal of friends as he had friendships that lasted decades. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Forever in our Hearts!!

A Celebration of Robin’s Life will be held at the Ridgemount Playground (Hall), 3088 Claude Street, Sudbury on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Relatives and friends are welcome from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
