It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kathren on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury.
Kathren was predeceased by her parents Percy & Mary Slattery, her brother-in-law Thomas Dole & her grand-niece Mackenzie Henderson.
She is survived by her daughter Tracy Morin (Doug Farmer). Sisters Lorna DelGuidice (Roger), Joan Dole, brother Jack Slattery (Judi); her nieces Colleen Belaire, Barbara Henderson (Ken), Cindy Thorsteinson (Erik), Kari Slattery, nephews Jason Slattery (Katie MacDonald), Joey Slattery (Jennifer). Also survived by great-nieces Lacey, Aine, Maija, & great- nephews Kyle, Ryan & Quintin, and grand-niece Sophia.
Tracy would like to thank everyone for taking exceptional care of her mother the last number of years since her strokes. Especially her Aunt Joan, cousins, Colleen, Barb, & Cindy who were there for her when she was unable to be.
She was dearly loved & will be missed by everyone who was blessed to have her in their lives. She was the kindest soul and was the most patient person we have ever known .
As per Kathren`s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A family celebration of life will take place in 2024 when she is laid to rest with her parents.
Donations to the Heart & Strokes Foundation in Kathren`s name would be appreciated.
