Robert Ruddell of Espanola, Ontario passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the age of 82.
Formerly of Georgetown, Cargill, Hanover and Espanola, Ontario.
Loving father of Deana (Dave Robertson) Ruddell of Ennismore, Delores Metcalf of Walkerton and Dan (Janet) Ruddell of Hythe, Alberta. Close friend Mary Morisette of Webbwood. Cherished Grandfather of Tyler (Diane), Corey, Logan, Hartley, Campbell, Dillion and Britney. Dear Great Grandfather to Izabelle, Coraline, Isaiah and Owen.
Predeceased by his parents, Olive and Frank Ruddell, sister Gladys Hume and Brother-in-law Sherwood.
A quiet retired farmer, yet could strike up a conversation with a stranger. He always enjoyed a good laugh and loved fishing in all seasons. His pleasant phone calls, endless knowledge in farming and wood working will be missed.
As per our Father’s wishes there will not be a funeral.
I am sorry for your loss. Bob was a great neighbour of ours while he lived in Hanover. We enjoyed a few fishing trips with him, including 2 in the
Espanola area. He was a great guy.
