Robitaille, Beatrice “Susie” (nee Potter)

Beatrice “Susie” Robitaille, 80 years, was born on April 7, 1942, in Sturgeon Falls, ON and passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Maison McCulloch Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Potter, and granddaughter of the late Henrietta Lockhart Potter. Beatrice was an avid puzzler, loved to cook, bake, crochet and garden. She loved feeding people and was an “Epic” tea granny. Beatrice’s fight and tenacity was with her until the very end. One of her last words were “I’m Momma”. She is treasured, cherished, and admired by all. Her journey in life will be survived by “Life” her children, “Destiny” her grandchildren, and “Immortality” in her great grandchildren, along with her feisty and stubborn love for her family, nature, and faith. Beatrice was surrounded in her last day by her loving husband, all her children, her granddaughter Natalie and great granddaughter Mazikeen. Beatrice is survived by her beloved husband of over 61 years, Richard. Loving mother of Mark Robitaille (wife Muriel, granddaughter Blair husband Geoffrey great grandsons Aidan and Mathiew), Margaret Robitaille (grandson N. Robitaille – predeceased and grandchildren Ryan and Jennifer), Carol Donnelly (husband Michael, granddaughter Christene and great granddaughter Lydia - predeceased and great granddaughter Lily, granddaughter Natalie and great granddaughter Mazikeen), Patrick Robitaille, and Tammy Robitaille. Dear sister of Patricia, Mary, Mildred, and Robert Jr. – predeceased. A celebration of Beatrice’s life will be held at a later date.

  1. Thinking of all of you in these difficult times. Our sincere condolences go out to uncle Richard and family. Love the visits with her unfortunately few and far apart. I always loved her beautiful smile. She will not be forgotten.
