Roger Rancourt tragically passed away, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in Parry Sound at the age of 47.
Roger enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting with friends and family. Roger will be deeply missed by his children, Josh and Jordin, spouse Jordan. Parents Marcel Rancourt and Irene (predeceased), his siblings Linda and Paul, spouse Diane. Roger was married to Sherry Rancourt, who had three children Shayne, Craig, and Tiara Rioux. Roger absolutely adored playing with his three grandchildren Ella, Jack, and Daxton.
Roger had many nieces and nephews. He was fondly remembered as “Unkie Rog.” Roger enjoyed the simple things, BEER, BBQ, and BONFIRES. He wished to be cremated and simply have a party. A celebration of life will be held on November 4, 2023 at 3 pm at the Lake-house. There will be ribs on the Traeger, his favourite foods, beer, and a bonfire. In true Roger fashion wear your comfiest clothes and come ready to share your fondest memories.
As a new resident of Alban, I appreciate your greeting every day when I arrive at work. Thank you for being a good teammate and a great neighbour. My condolences to your family and friends. Rest in peace.
