Prescott, Randy “Rags”

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Armand George Prescott "Rags" age 72. Dec 19, 1950 – Aug 28, 2023.  He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.

Survived by his loving wife of 51 years Debbie (Crouch). Daughters Erynne Prescott and Shannon Taha (Mekki Taha).  He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Dylon Bayard, Randie and Marina Colasimone, Michael, and Jake Taha.

Randy came from a very large Prescott family. Parents, Harold Prescott & Esther (Lawrence), brother Don (Naida Neal) (both predeceased), brother Bob (predeceased), sister Shirley (predeceased) (Ed Hanzel), sister Crystal (Dennis Chaput), sister Haroldene (Marcel Turgeon predeceased), sister Heather (Don Hopps predeceased), brother Terry (predeceased) (Sheila Heaven), sister Patricia (Ed Radford predeceased), brother Bruce, brother Douglas (Evelyn Duckworth), brother Reggie. 

He will be greatly missed by his in-laws the Crouch Family: Bob (Grant Wedge), Steven, Lee (Debbie Boisvenue), Brooke (Charlie Poliquin), Barry (Jeanine Gonsalves) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

Anyone who knew Randy, knew he would do anything to help someone in need.  He was known for his jokes and his smiles that would light up a room.  When he wasn’t with his family or friends, he was riding the rails as a Conductor for CN Rail.  He had a passion for making sure no trains left the yard without passing all health and safety regulations.  Randy loved to fish, and his girls were his pride and joy.  He will be a legend in all our hearts.  In accordance with Randy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service, a private burial of ashes will be held in the Capreol Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the paramedic supervisor and paramedics for the care and compassion for Randy in his final hours.
