It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Andy Pomerleau, 68 years, on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Louise (née Therrien) for 39 beautiful years. Loving father of Sonny, Stephany (Ricky), Chico – predeceased, and Berni – predeceased. Son of the late Armand and Lina Pomerleau. Dear brother of Victor, Raymond (Henriette), Richard, Donald, and predeceased by his siblings, Octave, Oscar, Marcel, Wilfred, Aline, Madelaine, and Gerry. Andy worked for the Labourers’ Union for many years. Andy was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, camping, spending time in his garage and being surrounded by his family. As per Andy’s wishes, there will be no visitation of service.
I am so sorry to hear of Andy’s passing. He was my uncle from a previous marriage when Bernie and Chico (Dennis) were alive. This was a tremendous loss for him, my aunt (their mother) as well as all our family. My thoughts and prayers to his family and to those who knew him and loved him.
