  2. Denise – my sincere condolences. I just learned of Gabe’s passing, and was duly saddened by the news.
I have not been back to FL for a few years, and miss many dear friends I met there, and came to know.
I had enjoyed the occasional billiards lesson from Gabe – and coincidentally, we of the Brant County Retired Teachers Organization, are trying to get a group together, to polish our billiards skills !

Be warm and well my friend – all the best!

  7. Thank you all for your condolences and kind words. I am forever grateful and proud to have had such a father. He was a great man, with a heart of gold, whose mission in life was to help, encourage, and most importantly, he lived to tell people about the power of prayer and his savior Jesus Christ. My dad never wavered from this and for those of you who were blessed to have known him or spent 5 minutes with him, we can all agree, he got your attention. Had a good sense of humor. Enjoyed shooting pool and playing golf. He was and will continue to be a legend, a man of character, and great father and husband. I miss my dad, but I get some peace of mind knowing without a shadow of a doubt that he is in heaven. My dad always said ” what a pension plan we have to look forward to, eternity in heaven. Dad, you ran the good race.
    Enjoy retirement up there.

  8. Please accept my sincere condolences Denise, Charles, Norm, Luc and Suzanne. It saddens me to learn of Gabe’s passing and am reminded of how lucky each and every person is for having known Gabe. He always helped anybody he could and is a mentor to many people as a result. His wise analogies still resonate today. A true gentleman who definately was chosen to guide those who needed it with his endless wisdom. The model of a family man! You are in my prayers through this most difficult time.
