Passed away Monday, May 15, 2023, at the age of 52 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved daughter of Ron and Linda (nee Maki) Pella. Loving wife of Marco Bellot. Proud mom of Cooper, Dillon, Ethan and Max. Caring daughter-in-law of Germano and Bruna Bellot. Dear sister of Tricia (Gaetano “Guy”) Rosa of Hamilton, ON, Rob (Diana Segboer) Pella of Calgary, AB and sister-in-law to Tania (Paul) Shanks. Adoring aunt of Marco Rosa, Daniella Rosa, Matteo Rosa, Lindon Shanks, Cameron Shanks and Kendra Shanks.
A Celebration of Tracy’s Life will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Laurentian Student Centre (935 Ramsey Lake Rd., Sudbury, ON P3E 2C6).
If desired, donations may be in Tracy’s memory directly to the Northern Cancer Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
We were saddened to hear of the loss of Tracy (Cooper’s mom) and would like to express our deepest sympathies to you Marco, Cooper, Dillion, Ethan and Max. I didn’t know Tracy well but she was always kind, funny and supportive when we spoke. She was obviously a wonderful mom and wife. William and I send you our strength and comfort during this very difficult time. We know first hand how difficult it is to lose a most loved parent and spouse … our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

I see Doctor Roy. I had called in, and the IVR had mentioned she was on medical leave. Later when I called again the IVR mentioned the leave was now permanent. Today when I called in, I heard “the late Dr. Pella”. I did not know her, but this last month or so I stumbled upon her updates, so I was shocked to hear the news from the IVR. My condolences Dr, I only ever knew you as an option on the phone, and now I wish you a peaceful and eternal rest. I will miss hearing your name come up, the IVR will never be the same.

I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. Dr. Pella was a superb physician and such a lovely person. My deepest sympathies go out to her family, her patients, and all who knew her. What a profound loss this is to our whole community.

Dear Ron, Linda, Tricia, Rob and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Tracy’s passing. I hadn’t been in touch in many years but all the fun we had as teens has come back in memories of laughter and joyful times. Her surprise birthday party, euchre and other games at lunch in the caf, among so many others. Her laughter rings clearly as I recall time spent together. I know that she touched the lives of so many, leaving her legacy of caring and really seeing into each person she crossed paths with as a valued human being with gifts to share. I learned so much from my friendship with her in our teens. My deepest condolences to you all, and all her loved ones.

My condolences. I was a patient of Tracy’s and was very fortunate to have her as my doctor. She was always so attentive and giving of her time. I am so sorry for your loss. My mother had moved to Finlandia and she would go visit her there and check in on her and I was so grateful. She will be missed! She will always be in our hearts.

I remember Tracy well from her time at O’Connor, which were my early days there. She was a “presence” in that place. I was heartbroken to hear of Tracy’s passing. She was a remarkable person who left us far too early – the world is a lesser place without her. I have not been in touch with Tracy in many years, but our time at the University of New Brunswick Exercise Physiology Lab – and the odd night at near-by pubs – are fond memories that will remain forever.
