Peever, David Floyd

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we wish to inform you about the passing of David Floyd Peever (October 7, 1944-May 14, 2021) at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, ON due to health complications. He was loved by his family who took turns being by his side while he was given excellent care by all the hospital staff that helped to make him as comfortable as possible. Son of the late Wesley and Audrey Peever. David was married to his wife Ruth Eleanor Brisco (predeceased) who when together spent many enjoyable trips to the surrounding lakes to see who could catch the biggest fish. They also hunted together, both enjoying being in the great outdoors. They also had four sons, Robert (Irene), Wayne (Shelley), Stacey (Rachel), and Jamie (predeceased). Brothers and sisters Vivian Ostroskie (John-predeceased), Clayton (Sharon), Leonard (Elaine), Ruth Bovair (Jerry), Wanda (predeceased) and Delbert (Valarie) and Douglas (predeceased) (Susan). Also we must mention his caregivers Lucie and Bill Castonguay who went above and beyond the line of duty, also good friend Marilyn who when together all four would play cards, laugh and have excellent meals whenever Dave’s health was good. He will be sadly missed by his brother-in-law Garry (Marlene) Briscoe, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins. At David’s request there will be no Celebration of Life. Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by family.
