The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Jasmine Corrie Owens, on Monday, June 19, 2023, at the age of 32 years. Beloved daughter of Garth and Stephanie Owens (née Simonds) of Creighton. She was their baby girl. Adored by her brother Thomas Owens and nephew Jaxon Owens. Cherished mother of Saydee Owens, Braylee Owens, Ramsee Owens and Seth. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandparents as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins many who fondly called her “Jazzy Wazzy”. Jasmine had countless friends who will dearly miss her. She will be greatly missed by “Nona” Julie Del Mastro and Michael Thompson Sr.
Jasmine had a sweet and beautiful spirit. She was a ray of light in any room she was in. Jasmine greeted everyone with a hug, and as many know, she gave the best hugs. Jaz never forgot to say I love you. She had such an awesome sense of humor and was always up for a good laugh. She could make anyone smile just with the twinkle in her eye. She was fiercely independent and had quite an adventurous side. Her soul was as beautiful as she was. Jasmine had a profound impact on so many lives, she will be sorrowfully missed by all who loved and knew her. Her bright spirit will forever live on, though her very adored children. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 2nd 2023 from 1 to 4 at the Northern Water Sports Centre, 206 Ramsey Lake Road. My sweet niece you will be so missed! Life got busy but it was always nice when we reconnected. Emily and Corey have always adored you. Your loss brings an empty hole in all of our hearts. My deepest condolences to Braylee, Saydee, Ramsee and Seth as well as Jazzy’s family during this most difficult time. Jaz was a very good friend of mine and we often spoke and hung out. It is not fair that she is gone and it will never be fair. Especially for those kids who now have no Mom and already lost their Dad. My family will miss Jasmine more than I can express in words and I am truly sorry for your loss, I am at a loss for words as I am also still in shock.
