It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Fernand Noel with family by his side on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Health Sciences North at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Linda Noel (nee Slanunwhite). Cherished father of Debby Gibson, Cathy Noel (predeceased), and Robert Noel. Loving stepfather of Claudette Verbiewski(predeceased), Helen Gurlitz-Zorne(predeceased), Laura Bruhm (Brian), Troy Bruhm (Linda), Liz Kusan, Gisele Roy, Bert Chartrand (Cathy), and Suzanne Brassard (Denis). Predeceased by his siblings, Richard, Marcel, Cleo, Armande, and Carmaine. He will be sadly missed by many. A special thank you to his granddaughter Tina for all your love, care, and compassion. Born on October 12, 1937 in Lavigne, ON, he was the son of the late Alderic and Ledia Noel. In keeping with Fernand’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial will take place at a later date.
