Passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Health Sciences North at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of Richard for 65 years. Loving mother of Marcel (Linda), Michel, Guy (Shirley) and Robert (Debbie). Dear sister of Therese Larocque and Aline Jackson. Predeceased by her siblings Armand, Jean-Baptiste, Simon, Raymond, Albert, Henri, Rene, Fernand, Germaine Noel, Lucienne Leclair and Simone Noel. She will be sadly missed by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jeannette is predeceased by one granddaughter, Carmen. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or services. A private burial will take place. The family would like to thank the Nurses and Doctors at the South Tower 5th floor for being phenomenal and the ICU staff are outstanding at Health Sciences North.

Ma’Tante Jeannette was so quiet and unassuming, expected nothing from anyone but gave so freely. After the great welcoming hugs and kisses her next words were about hunger and could she get us something to snack or drink. She was so gentle, shrugged off compliments so easily.. Tante took such good and constant care of Uncle and always made it seem effortless. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary October sixth and Giselle (nee Noel) Eno, a helper to Tante and Uncle for several years, made them special cards with love. Tante was quite the crafts lady and some sisters and I have some from her and they will be treasured. Tante sent me back to Alberta with a scrawny but healthy aloe vera plant two years ago, which is named “Jeannette” and I’ve kept it going. My Mom Germaine gave me one, too, 37 years ago so the Aubin sisters think alike. My two remaining aunts Aline and Therese and all the families have a wonderful new Heavenly helper. I will so badly miss my many once-a-year visits with her; even though they were short they meant very much to me. God bless you all.

I am very saddened to read that Jeannette has passed away. We had great times and laughs working at the parish hall Bingo many moons ago and playing cards. Sincere condolences to Richard and the boys. Her suffering has ended. Rest in peace Jeannette!!
