Messenger, Kevin

With sadness we announce the passing of Kevin Messenger, September 14, 2022, at the young age of 65 at Health Sciences North. He was born in Sudbury as the youngest of six children to Clarence and Wilma Messenger (nee Crawford, Myers). Baby brother to Marilyn (Rick), Gloria (Bill), Linda (Tom), Darlene (Al), and Dwight (Diane). Married to his wonderful wife Suzanne (nee Goudreau) for 44 years. He was father to two children, Stephanie, and Jason (Alyssa). Cherished Papa to Ciera, Gabby, Carter, and Gavin. Kevin was known for his amazing work ethic and professionalism in his career in corrections. He was a proud representation of his field and was well respected by all for being fair and firm. His passion for riding motorcycles led him to having yearly trips to Tennessee with his riding friends to ride the tail of the dragon all the way to North Carolina. Even after suffering from his first stroke, he fought hard to recover and be able to ride his bike and drive as well. His determination and dedication were unflappable when he set his mind to something. Thank you to everyone that provided their care and support to Kevin and his family during these difficult times these past few years after Kevin’s surgery complications and subsequent strokes. No words will ever be enough. As per his wishes there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers those wishing to pay respects please consider donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in his name. Ways to give | Heart and Stroke Foundation .

  8. I still think of my chance encounter meeting up with Kevin while riding in Maine eight or nine years ago. We hadn’t seen one another in decades and he recognized me instantly. It was very good to reminisce with him for the three days we rode together. He was a lot of fun.
    My condolences to the family.
