The family announces with sorrow his passing on Friday, October 28, 2022, at the age of 57 years in Sudbury.
Predeceased by his parents Gerald and Jacqueline (nee Kingsley) McMahon. Loving husband of Susan Lawson. Beloved father of Darcy (Erin) Ross. Loving stepfather to Chelsea Lawson and Megan Lawson. Cherished papa to Sophia, Chloe, Prudence, Romeo, Leahla, Micheal, Cindie and Sean. Dear brother to Rick McMahon, Roger (Joy) McMahon, both predeceased, Louise McMahon, Michel McMahon, Gerald McMahon, Helen (Brian) Nielson, Lauraine (Dan) Legault and Marc (Angie) McMahon. He will also be missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Dan spent the last two decades as the owner/operator of Dan’s Taxi in Sudbury, ON.

Just wanted to pass along my thoughts and prayers, I’m a visitor to Canada. One time a friend arranged for me to be picked up at the Sudbury Airport, Dan was there with a big sign saying welcome to Canada, I still laugh about it.
