McIlmoyle, Margaret (née Bryce)

With heavy hearts and much love, the family of Margaret McIlmoyle (née Bryce) announce her peaceful passing at the age of 82 years on Saturday, March 26, 2022.  Daughter of the late Herbert and Annie Bryce. Margaret was the beloved wife of Barrie (predeceased) and fortunate to have found a second life partner, Rheal Vaillant. Margaret will be missed by her four children, Kathryn (Richard), Karen (Peter), Lynda (Jean-Marc), Alan (Carole) and three generations of grandchildren. Adding to the family dynamics, Ray (Lynn), Derek (Tammy) and their families. Dear sister-in-law to Bill, Delores, Doug and special Auntie to many nieces and nephews. She will also be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by many friends and neighbours. 

Margaret was dedicated to her family, enjoyed her many hobbies, knitting, sewing, upholstery, quilting, gardening, and outdoor activities. She was a PSW, providing care for her community. She was supportive of her family and proud of their achievements. If there was a chance for a road trip she was packed before the arrangements were finalized.

We would like to thank the Doctors and Staff at Health Sciences North for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Honouring Margaret's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
