Marcinishyn, Stanley Frank

Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the age of 85.

Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Anne (nee Tataryn) Marcinishyn. Beloved brother of Paul (Liz) Marcinishyn, both predeceased, Helen (Enci) DiFilippo, both predeceased, Angeline VanClieaf and Carolyn, predeceased (Marc) Dumencu. Loving uncle to Christine (John) Rintala, Danny (Marlene) VanClieaf, Robin, predeceased (Sandra) VanClieaf, Darlene VanClieaf, Michael (Jill) DiFilippo, Debbie DiFilippo, Gary DiFilippo, Paula Marcinishyn, Erika Dumencu, Nicholas (Claudia) Dumencu and Emily (Brock) Stadnyk. Cherished great uncle to Tammy, Deryl (Carolyn), Corrina (Jason), Bradley (Jill), Matthew (Cassidy), Benjamin, Karina, Zoe, Jack, Cristiana, Jackz, Sloan, Myles and Mikhayla. Uncle Stan will be deeply missed by his great, great nieces and nephews, Avery, Ashton, Logan, Kai, Aliisa and Matti.

Born December 15, 1937, in Creighton Mines “Uncle Stan” was the fun uncle, always the entertainer and dog lover. He Lived in British Columbia for 30 years and worked for Canada Post where he was the favored letter carrier making homemade delicious treats for his furry friends. He will be remembered and missed for the fun loving, full of life, thoughtful character he was.

As per Uncle Stan’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Maison McCulloch Hospice and would be appreciated by his family.
