In loving memory of Jean Lewis who passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Frederick Lewis who predeceased her on their thirty-eighth wedding anniversary in 1989. Much loved mother of Debra (Robert Crawford), Sharon (Bob Brunelle), Nancy (Frank Moyle) and Mary (Kevin Baldelli). Dear grandmother of thirteen grandchildren; Robert (Leslie), Andrew (Christina), Laura (Marc), Sarah (David), Matthew (Melanie), Wesley (Victoria), Emily (Steve), David (Amy), Steven (Sheena), Kimberly (Luke), Kaitlin (Eric), Mary and Zachary (Alissa). Loved great-grandmother of thirty-six great-grandchildren.
Jean was born October 1, 1930, to Wesley and Elisabeth Rice. She is pre-deceased by her sisters Irene, Audrey, Phyllis and Barbara.
Jean was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who left a rich legacy of love to her family. She was happiest, surrounded by her family at the cottage she and Fred built on Martineau Bay on Lake Temiskaming.
She was kind and gracious always. We are left with many precious and beautiful memories. She will be deeply missed.
A heartfelt thank you to the Tulip Terrace Team for their care and compassion for Jean during her stay at Pioneer Manor.
A private family graveside gathering will be held at a later date.
Heartfelt condolences on the loss of your lovely mother. She was a kind, generous and hospitable woman, and will be missed by the loving family she leaves behind.
Love and prayers,
Deb and Denis

Condolences to all the Lewis family, Debbie, Sharon, Nancy and Mary on the loss of their mother. Your mother was such a sweet person to know. I grew up across the street in Mattawa from the family.
May she R.I.P. Mrs Lewis.
