Louis Leveille passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026 after a very brief battle with cancer.
Loving husband to Elisabeth Meier, father to Matthew Leveille (Ashley Stevens), stepfather to Garret Rowlands (Shelly), Gabriel Rowlands (Jessica), grandchildren Eleanor Leveille and Morgan Rowlands. Son of the late Desneiges and the late Arthur Leveille. Brother of Ghislaine Cole and the late Gerald Leveille.
Louis was born in Sudbury on February 1, 1958. “Jack of all trades but master of none” he would say as he was always doing something different whether he was driving transport, working as a welder/structural steel fitter, building decks or doing some home renovations and of course keeping many of his old Dodges running. Louis loved to tinker and build things around the house, take his ATVs out in the woods and drive his old Dodge truck for coffee in the morning with occasional trips to his favorite store Princess Auto for more things to tinker with.
The family would like to pay they’re thanks to the wonderful nurses and doctors on 4 North at Health Sciences North for taking good care of Louis and keeping him comfortable in his final days. As per Louis wishes no visitation or service will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
