It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Leo Lavallee at the age of 73 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, ON.
Son of the late Gerald and Laurette (nee Pelchat) Lavallee. Beloved father to Janis Lavallee (Erol) of Midland, ON, Dennis Lavallee (predeceased) and their mother Patsy Lavallee. Special grandfather to Brody Dupris, Dalton and McKenzie Lavallee. Beloved companion of Barb Campbell. Dear brother to Denise Atkinson, predeceased (Bernard Bolduc, predeceased), Francis Atkinson, predeceased, Lise Newton (Adlord, predeceased), Monique Bolduc (Bertrand, predeceased), Marie-Claire Bolduc (Yvon), Paulette Bolduc (Sylvio, predeceased), Luc Lavallee (Peggy), May Caissy (Jean-Yves, predeceased), and Dominique MacMillan (Kelly). Leo will be missed by many nieces, nephews family members and friends.
Leo was born in Fabre, Quebec and the family later moved to Elliot Lake, ON and then to Serpent River, ON. Leo lived in Port McNicoll, ON for many years with his family. He worked for Charlebois, Breen’s Sawmill and Schneiders delivering flour to many locations. He loved having a good time, laughing, singing and dancing. He enjoyed his sports especially hockey, his Montreal Canadiens.
A Celebration of Leo’s Life will take place at a later date. As per his wishes, cremation has already taken place.
