In loving memory of Sharon Ann Langemann (nee MacPhee).
On the sunny morning of Wednesday, June 14, 2023, our beloved wife, mom and grandma passed away with her loving family by her side after a short, but hard-fought battle with dementia.
Born in beautiful Sydney, Nova Scotia on July 14, 1953, Sharon was the adored wife of almost 45 years to Frank Langemann. Dear mom to Danny, Stephanie (Marc) Desfosses, Frank (Roxanne) and Chris (Meghan). Cherished grandma to her 8 grandchildren: Charity, Desiree, Cam, Mac, Nova, Aidan, Paige and Avery. Dear sister of Donna and her family. Survived by her sister-in-laws Joanne (Jason), Krista (Steve) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her in-laws Henry and Inge Langemann, her brother-in-laws Wolfgang and Henry and her sister-in-law Anne-Marie (Alvin) Smith.
Upon their retirement, Sharon and Frank enjoyed many happy years on Manitoulin Island with family and friends. Sharon loved her husband, children and grandchildren fiercely and was proud of all their achievements (big or small).
The Langemann family wish to thank the staff at the Oak Lodge, Kirkwood Place for the care and compassion they showed to Sharon over the last three months.
In keeping with Sharon’s wishes there will be no service or visitation.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Sudbury Yacht Club ( 190 Ramsey Lake Rd, Sudbury, ON), on Tuesday July 11,2023 from 2:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Oak Lodge-Kirkwood Place and would be appreciated.
My deepest sympathy to Frank and his family during this time of grief. Sharon was a brave soul as I witnessed her struggle here at the Meridian. May she rest in peace.
Sincerely Carol O”Kane
