It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Denis at HSN on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the age of 61 years.
Left to mourn his passing are Donna (nee Landrie), his wife and life partner of almost 35 years; his treasured daughters Lindsay and Amanda, and the grandchildren he absolutely adored, Kayden and Sophia. Denis is predeceased by his son and best bud, Devin as well as his dad, Rolly.
Born to Eleonore and Roland Lamothe Denis is survived by his mom and his 8 siblings: Monique (Ron); Marc (Laurie); Lise (Georges); Gisele (JP); Gaetan (Cheryl); Carole (Gerry); Michel (Margie) and Rollande (Denis). His mischievous smile and sense of humour will also be missed by Donna’s family: Wanda (Jaques); George (Francine); Debbie; Rick (Sandy) and Deanna (Andre). Denis will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of the 4th floor at HSN South Tower for the kindness and compassion they showed Denis and all of us over the last two weeks.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at the Wahnapitae Community Centre, 161 Glenbower Crescent, Wahnapitae. Family and friends are invited to join us from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations in Denis’ memory be made to the Northeast Cancer Centre or Maison McCulloch Hospice.
