Lafreniere, Georgette (Riopel)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Georgette Lafreniere (Riopel) on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the age of 81.

Wife of Conrad Lafreniere (predeceased January 6, 2002). Loving mother of Denis Lafreniere (Lise Martel) and Andre Lafreniere (Chantal).

Loving grandmother of Cindy Picard (Rick), Melanie Lafreniere, Jessica Valad (Daniel). Loving great grandmother to twins Alexe and Riley Picard.

Loving sister of Gilberte Vincent (Marcel) (both predeceased), Robert Riopel (Yolande), Richard Riopel (predeceased) (Rose), Madeleine Chrétien (Leon, predeceased), and Claude Riopel.

Georgette always kept her family close to her heart. Having all her children together is what made her most happy. She worked at the Royal Bank in Hanmer for many years, where she formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. She will be loved in heaven like she was loved on earth.
