On Sunday, April 18, 2021, Albert La Pierre, 78 years, a loving and dedicated husband, and father of four children passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Albert was always a devoted and proud family man. Albert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Denise and his four children, Michel – predeceased, Don, Mike (Kimberly), and Joanne. He left a legacy of grandchildren, Joel, Alex, Noah, Liam, Brennan, Ashley, and Paige, along with a great granddaughter Adelaide. Predeceased by his parents Henri and Ange-Aime (nee Plante). Fondly remembered by his siblings Rheal (Therese) – both predeceased, Madeline (Denis), Henriette (Wille – predeceased), Roland (Collette – predeceased), Colombe (Bobby – predeceased). Albert worked at INCO for 30 years and upon retirement worked at Canadian Tire for 15 years. He had a passion for gardening, puzzles, crosswords, and was an avid reader. As a young man he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. He was a Montreal Habs fanatic. A special thank you to Father J.P. Jolicoeur for your kindness and empathy. The family would like to thank Maison McCulloch Hospice and all the community health care workers, especially, Julianna, Claire, Nigelle, Christina, Jenna, Sara, and Cher, your care, support, and compassion will never be forgotten. A funeral service and celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations made directly to the Palliative Health Care Team would be greatly appreciated.
