It is with great sorrow that the family announces her sudden and peaceful passing, in Dowling, Ontario on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at the age of 58 years. Beloved daughter of the late Pascal (Cal) and Helen (nee Kangas) Kean. Predeceased by many aunts and uncles. Survived by her sister Debbie (Peter), Aunt May and cousins, and unofficial siblings Shari and Ken Moss. Special aunt to Tyler, Andrew, Tanner, Ava, and Jax.
Kim was a valued long-term employee of the SNOLAB, where she made many friends amongst her colleagues. She took great pride in her work.
Kim was known for her infectious BIG laugh, sense of humour, quick wit, directness, and her generosity. She loved spending time with friends and family. She loved living in the North and small-town life. A puppy sitter for many and had been known to dognap Tuty for days on end. She loved her quiet time, puzzles, decorating shows and her endless gadgets (She will be missed by Amazon). She also loved playing games and was the worst winner ever!
If desired, donations in Kim’s memory may be made to any animal shelter or rescue in the area.
We’ll sadly miss you Kimmy Kean.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
Condolences to the family so sad to hear of your passing your smile and laughter will be greatly missed I hope you are dancing in the sky fly amongst the angels

Very sad to hear of Kim’s passing. For many years I have known Kimmy. She was happy and upbeat; she loved life, from baseball to motorcycles; she would do whatever she liked… a real Dowling girl. When Kimmy was in the house, it was ‘party on’. She loved having fun and lots of laughs – we all know that laugh. That was Kimmy, always there smiling. When you shared time with Kimmy, it just felt good. Rusty Osmond

My sincere condolences to Debbie & Family & the Moss’s. I worked with Kim while she was at SNOLAB. Kim was reliable, independent, funny, caring & would say exactly what she meant (very honest). She will definitely be missed by all of us. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
