Age 58
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marlene Martin-Miron on October 19th, 2026 surrounded by her father Bert Martin, Yolonde (predeceased) her son Matt Miron and wife Tiffany, their children Abby and Easton brother Jamie and wife Joanne and nieces Jillian and Isabelle, her lifelong best friend Nicole and Nicole’s son, Pat Bourgeois.
Marlene dedicated 30 years of her life to working at Fisher Wavy, where she spent many years building connections and being part of her community.
Marlene and Nicole shared a lifelong friendship that began in childhood and carried through the many chapters of their lives, including standing beside one another on their wedding days. Their bond was more than friendship it was family, built on years of memories, laughter, and unwavering connection.
Marlene was the mother of her only son, Matt, and grandmother to Abby and Easton. Their bond and shared memories will always hold a special place in their family’s story.
Marlene also leaves behind her beloved nieces, Isabelle and Jillian, along with extended family and friends who will cherish her memory. Her life also included her first husband, Ray, who shared an important chapter of her journey.
Marlene’s memory will live on through the people she loved the friendships she cherished, and the memories she leaves behind. Marlene is reunited with her beloved mother, Yolande who passed before her. May she rest peacefully and may those who loved her find comfort in the moments they shared.
A Funeral Mass will be held on November 14, 2026 at 10 am at Paroisse Ste-Marguerite-D’Youville, 4290 Old Hwy 69, Val Therese, ON P3P 0A1.
