In Loving Memory of Jocelyne Sinclair (née Brosseau)

February 9, 1963 – October 31, 2026

With hearts full of love and heavy with loss, we say goodbye to Jocelyne Sinclair, 63, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, October 31, 2026, after facing breast cancer with remarkable courage and grace.

Jocelyne shared her life with her husband, David Sinclair. She was a devoted mother to her son David (Julie), and she took immense pleasure in being a proud grandma to Tyler and Zack, who brought tremendous joy to her life.

She was the cherished daughter of Thérèse Brosseau (née Brunet) and the late Rolland Brosseau, and will be deeply missed by her sisters, Rachel Trottier-Bourgeon (David “Tattoo”) and Sylvie Dubreuil (Darren), along with her many beloved nieces and nephews. Family was the centre of her world, and the love she gave was steady, sincere, and always felt.

As a nurse at Daffodil Lodge, Jocelyne brought the same warmth and gentle care to her work that she gave her loved ones at home — nursing was not just her profession, but a reflection of her generous heart.  Jocelyne had a gift for lifting those around her — kind, positive, and full of life. She found happiness in simple pleasures: bingo, music, sunshine, and laughter, and that bright spirit stayed with her even through illness.

She leaves behind a legacy of quiet kindness, comfort, and love freely given. She will be deeply missed by her family, colleagues, and all who were fortunate to have known her — her gentle spirit will live on in every life she touched.

The family extends their heartfelt and sincere gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and staff of the Northeast Cancer Centre, and to the compassionate caregivers at Maison McCulloch Hospice. Your gentle care and support during this difficult journey meant more than words can express — to Jocelyne, and to all of us who love her.

In keeping with Jocelyne’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date, so that family may gather to honour the beautiful life she lived.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jocelyne’s memory may be made directly to Maison McCulloch Hospice https://maisonsudburyhospice.org/donate.

Forever in our hearts.
