  9. Dear Herm, Kevin, & Stephanie,

My parents just shared Claire’s obituary with me and I wanted to write to share my sincerest condolences with all of you. I am so very sorry that she has passed and I wanted you to know that I have such fond memories of her. I remember her as a quiet, gentle, sweet woman with a warm smile. I recall wiling away many hours playing marbles at your first house on Brenda, kicking up dirt with Kevin, then later playing Super Mario Bros at your second home down the hill. She never got mad or annoyed with us & just let us have our fun. Kevin, while I haven’t seen you in a very long time, I wanted you to know how much I appreciated your friendship all those years ago. You were always a sincere, loyal friend & I have no doubt those are qualities your Mom instilled in you. I hope that her memory brings you all comfort & peace in the days to come.

    Sincerely,
    Vanessa
