Henri, Guy “Z Popokorn”

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden and tragic passing of Guy “Z Popokorn” Henri, on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his residence.  Beloved son of Laurent (Rachelle) and Gisèle Beaudry (Donald). Cherished father of Kelton (mother Lana), Scout and Tarzan (mother Chilot-predeceased) and step father of Brandon and Gavin.  Sadly, missed by his brother Marc (Sarah) and predeceased by his sister Anne (Matthew).  Guy will be remembered by his nieces Sophie (Ethan), Sage, and his many cousins, relatives, and friends.  Guy’s giving heart and free spirit will be sadly missed by all who knew him.  At the family’s request there will be a private Celebration of Life at a later date.  Donations made directly to the Neo Kids Foundation https://www.neokidsfoundation.ca/ or The Blue Door Soup Kitchen https://bluedoorsoup.ca/ would be appreciated.

Keep singing and dancing.

  1. Dear Gisèle and family, I only heard, on April 28th, of Guy’s tragic and inconceivable passing. I want you to know that Guy was loved and respected by all who worked with him at Theatre Cambrian. He was always charming and cooperative and a downright pleasure to direct. His dazzling smile was always present at rehearsals. His positivity was his most endearing trait. Although it has been many years since last we met, I will always remember him as a true and gentle man. May flights of angels sing him to his eternal rest. God bless you all. Jamie J. Bourget

  3. Back in the late 80″s this young scrawny teenager showed up to one of our tryouts. He tried so hard and always had a smile. When I told him that we would keep him but only as a bench player, he reacted with such excitement that he could not contain himself. Although he did not play much he always came to practice, worked hard to gained the respect of his teammates never complained and was a joy to have him on the team. His hard work and never give up attitude endeared him amongst his teammates. Guy was a proud member of the Italia Flyers Senior Men’s Soccer team.
I was proud to be his Coach. Keep smiling down on us Guy. My condolences to the family.
