In loving memory of Eila Hanna, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In our hearts forever. It is with profound sadness that the family announces her passing on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Health Sciences North. She is survived by her husband Bud. Loving mother to Brian (Debbie), Cathy (David), Brent (Simone), Caron (Wayne), Charlene (Jim, predeceased). Grandmother to 8 and great grandmother to 11.
My mother my mom
That's where I'm from
A life that was born
A death that gets torn
From our heart that gets broken
Not nearly a token
The love that is felt
The grief that is dealt
How it gets taken
All wonder forsaken
You watch and you wonder
The suffering she's under
How could this be right
Moms don't always fight
Your hearts in despair
You know it's not fair
We all come together
To share our forever
But true life prevails
Our feelings do swell
To a point that our fears
Overcome all our tears
And you cry out in pain
Your words are in vain
How could this be true
But God has his view
Our angel goes home
No longer to roam
It's time for goodbyes
No tears in your eyes
Be happy she'll be
Right here with me
And still looking over
With gods hands
That wove her
To live in our hearts
Forever to be
My mother my mom
My deepest condolences to my brother, Bud, and his family. Eila was my sister-in-law and my friend. Even though I hadn’t seen her in the last few years, she was always in my heart.
